Instructions to Authors
- The journal will be called "JACET Chubu Branch Journal" in Japanese and "The JACET Chubu Journal" in English. It will be published once a year in December.
- The journal will publish unpublished research articles, practice papers, research notes, and book reviews related to English and English language education, although oral presentations will also be reviewed if they are stated as such.
- The qualifications for submitting articles to this journal are as follows:
- Be a member of the JACET Chubu Chapter.
- The author must be a member of another branch who is co-authoring with a branch member (however, the lead author must be a Chubu branch member).
- In cases other than those mentioned above, specifically commissioned by the Editorial Board.
- The journal's language must be either Japanese or English.

<<English>>- PC and software: Use Word for Windows.
- Paper: A4, horizontal writing
- Font: "MS Mincho" for Japanese text, "Century" for English text
- Points: 10.5 points
- Formatting: Japanese text should be 39 characters per line, English text should be 80 characters per line, and there should be 35 lines per page.
- Title, names, etc.: The main text should include only the title of the paper. Do not include names, affiliations, or acknowledgements.
- References: The reference format basically follows the 7th edition of the APA (American Psychological Association).
- Abstract: For Japanese manuscripts, an English abstract should be included after the title of the main text. For English manuscripts, an English abstract should be included after the title of the main text. The length should be no more than 16 lines.
- Keywords: Please write keywords in Japanese and English (up to five words) following the abstract.
- Regarding manuscript length, research papers should be 15 pages or so for single-authored research, 22 pages or so for co-authored research, 10 pages or so for practical reports, 10 pages or so for research notes, and 5 pages or so for book reviews.
- A "research paper" is one that has theoretical and methodological novelty and originality in English language education, and clearly states the research objectives and conclusions. Research announcements, interim reports, and lists of events are not considered to be research papers.
- A "practical report" is one that clearly states any issues raised or new proposals made based on the content and results of English lessons.
- A "research note" is a piece of theoretically or methodologically innovative and original content related to English language education, and must be an interim report in the form of immediate publication.
- A book review is an objective commentary on a published book intended to introduce it to readers.
- The Editorial Board will review submitted papers and decide whether or not to accept them for publication.
- The deadline for submissions is September 9th of each year.
Authors whose articles are accepted for publication will pay a publication fee of 1 yen per printed page.Free of charge from 2025- The electronic version will be released on J-STAGE and other sites.
- The copyright of the papers published in this journal belongs to JACET Chubu and shall be handled in accordance with the Copyright Regulations set out separately.
